Routing Upgrade: @ Someone, and Only They Respond
Dinghai just shipped three updates that make group chat collaboration significantly cleaner. None of them require you to change a habit - they're quiet improvements that make the chat feel more like talking to one person instead of a room full of people.
① Precision @ Routing
@ someone, and only they respond. Everyone else stays silent.
Before, an assistant name mentioned in a message body could trigger a false dispatch - you'd type "let's have @ContentFactory handle the draft" in passing, and other assistants would jump in. Now, an @ mention at the start of a message is the only thing that wakes an assistant. Mention a name in the middle of a sentence, and the rest of the team stays quiet.
② Group Identity Binding
When multiple team members work in the same WhatsApp group, Dinghai understands it's one team - not three separate conversations.
Switch devices, switch phone numbers: the context persists. Everyone in the group sees the same thread, the same history, and the same understanding of what's in flight.
③ Intent Triage
Casual messages like "ok" or "got it" get instant sub-second replies. Real tasks go through the full execution pipeline.
The group stops feeling sluggish on acknowledgments, while complex work still gets the full treatment - no compromise on quality.
What this means
Quieter groups. More accurate responses. Smoother multi-member collaboration.
And you don't need to change any habits - all three are quiet improvements that just make the chat feel more like talking to one person instead of a room full of people.
