Your First Dinghai Task: A 5-Minute Guide
You don't need to learn any new software. There's only one thing to do with Dinghai: say what you need in the group, and let the AI team handle the rest.
This guide walks you through your first task end to end - five minutes is enough.
Step 1: Log in and join the group
Open https://dinghai.vibelingan.com/portal.html and enter your customer code (provided by your contact, in a format like xxx-xxxxxxxx).
Once logged in, you'll see two things:
- Group chat: your operations team is on standby here.
- My knowledge base: every deliverable gets archived here - preview and PDF download available.
Step 2: Say what you need, clearly
A good request has three parts; miss one and you'll burn an extra round-trip:
| Element | Example |
|---|---|
| Goal | "make it easier for overseas customers to find us in AI search" |
| Deliverable | "a brand AI-visibility audit report" |
| Constraints | "targeting the US and EU markets, bilingual" |
Compare:
- "do some research" - nobody knows what to research or who it's for
- "audit our brand's visibility in ChatGPT and Perplexity, compare against two main competitors, and output a report I can send straight to management"
The one-line principle: treat the AI like a newly hired teammate - capable, but it can't know what you didn't say.
Step 3: @ the right person
The group has a division of labor - @ someone and only they respond (messages without an @ won't be dispatched):
| @ who | What they do | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| @Dinghai | orchestration, task breakdown, strategy | complex needs, multi-step tasks, or when you don't know who to ask |
| @ContentFactory | writing, translation, multilingual adaptation | copy, articles, edits, scripts |
| @Publisher | multi-platform publishing and scheduling | posting to Facebook / LinkedIn / X and more |
| @DomesticOps | domestic AI-search GEO audits and operations | visibility on domestic engines (DeepSeek / Doubao / Kimi, etc.) |
Not sure? Just @Dinghai - it will break the task down and dispatch it to the right assistant.
Step 4: Wait for the delivery, then review
After you send the task, the group reports progress in real time. When done, the deliverable will:
- Give you an access link in the group (opens a formatted web page)
- Auto-archive into your knowledge base, downloadable as PDF anytime
You don't need to organize files yourself - the knowledge base is your project archive.
Step 5: Not happy? Say so
The AI team isn't afraid of rework - it's afraid you won't speak up. Direct ways to ask for changes:
- "Paragraph 2 feels stiff - rewrite it."
- "Make the tone more relaxed, like chatting with a client."
- "Add a comparison with a competitor."
- "Move the conclusion up - it's too long."
You don't need to re-explain context when following up - within the same task it remembers the context, so you can just say "add a domestic version to the report above."

FAQ
Q: Can I run several tasks at once?
Yes - but multi-turn within one task is more efficient, because it remembers the context.
Q: Can I share deliverables externally?
Yes. Links are publicly accessible web pages, and PDFs can be downloaded and forwarded. Please review before external release - you own the final word.
Q: Can it use my knowledge-base materials?
Yes. Put product docs, brand intros, and case materials into the knowledge base; when writing content it will first search these as a source, so the output fits your actual business.
Q: What if I get it wrong?
Just correct it. You can change direction or deliverables mid-task; no need to start over.
Next step
